    I bought a beggining brewers kit which included Muntons standard yeast. Everything went as it should and my beer began fermenting 8 hrs after we had finished. The instructions were easy to follow and I look forward to honing my skills as a hobby brewer. Very pleased with my kit.

    This yeast starts out very active, but seems to die off quickly. I wouldn't completely avoid it but given the choice and budget would go for a more expensive one with better qualities.

    Muntons brewing yeasts works well. I only brew 2-5 gallons at a time and it has helped me yield some good beer. surprisingly i have gotten a decent ABV with Muntons, 7-8%.
